This tropical system is
currently located 40 miles East of Brownsville, TX.
Dolly is now a category 1 hurricane and has
maximum sustained wind speeds of 95 mph with higher
gusts. It is expected to strengthen slightly,
possibly to a category 2 hurricane before making final
landfall later this morning. It is expected to
make landfall near the Brownsville area.
RESIDENTS SHOULD HAVE COMPLETED PREPAREDNESS
ACTIVITIES. MOBILE HOME OR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE OWNERS
SHOULD EVACUATE NOW.
